Credentrust Software, Inc. ("Credentrust") and its affiliate partners including iBank have created this privacy policy ("Policy") in order to demonstrate our commitment to customer privacy. Customer privacy on its web sites (the "Sites") is of great important to us. Because we collect important information from our customers, we have established this Policy as a mean of communicating our information practices regarding collecting, using and sharing that information. We strictly abide by the information practices disclosed in this Policy for all information collected at our websites and other affiliate websites. The Customers data will be stored and processed in whole or in part in the United States. If you access Sites outside the United States, your usage of that site constitutes consent to the transfer of this data out of the Customers country and to the United States. Information Collection & Use This web-based system and services require customers to register for their own secure private account, what we refer to as a "VAULT". In addition to selecting a username and password, the customer is asked to provide your contact information, such as name, company name, address, phone number and email address. Billing information, such as credit card number, is required when completing a purchase of our system and services. The Customers personal information can be updated any time by logging into the VAULT and editing registration information. When the customers choose to submit a loan request, we request detailed financial and background information which lending entities will need to prepare a proposal or approve you do business with them. We must collect this information to categorize the loan request and to provide sufficient information for lenders to prepare their proposals. The VAULT keeps your financial and proprietary information private. Only lenders, credit officers, credit screening personnel, other authorized personnel, and corporate partners approved by this Company have particular requests and those persons and/or entities specifically invited by the customer are authorized by this Company to view your request. This Company uses a third-party intermediary to manage credit processing. This intermediary is solely a link in the distribution chain, and is not permitted to store, retain, or use the information provided, except for the sole purpose of credit processing. For customers completing a credit application for corporate client ("Client"), the information is available to the Client and all employees and agents authorized by the Client to view the application. The information may be used by the Client to conduct a credit search on the credit history of your company and/or principles. The Client may also share part or all of the credit application with references the customer provides. While the system ensures that only authorized users may view your application, this Company is not responsible for the security or privacy practices of the Client. Links The Site contains links to other web sites. This Company is not responsible for the privacy practices of these other web sites. Customers should need check the policy statement of these others sites to understand their policies. Other sites also have links to this Company to expose our system and services to their customers. This Company is not responsible for the privacy policies of other web sites. You need to read their privacy statements separately. Cookies When a customer comes to our Site, our server sends a temporary cookie to the customer’s computer. Cookies are files that Web browsers store in the computer's memory and are used to maintain the session while the customer is on the Site. Permanent cookies, which are written to the customer’s hard disk and can be used to identify the customer as a returning visitor, are not used on the Site. We never use cookies as a way of gathering personal information about the customer. The Site uses only temporary cookies ("session cookies") as a security mechanism to authenticate you as a registered user and authorize that the customer has permission for each requested action. Session cookies help us make sure the customer is whom the customer say the customer is after the customer has logged in and are required to use this Company’s application. Customers who disable their Web browser's ability to accept cookies will be able to browse this Company’s site but will not be able to login and use this system and/or service. No personal information is stored in the cookie other than some random data used to identify the customer to the servers. All cookies are deleted from the customer’s computer after closing the browser or turning off your computer. Security The Company’s Site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We utilize Secure Socket Layer technology to protect the customers information while in transit from their computer to/from our servers. This Company hosts the Site in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent access from unauthorized persons. The Company’s Site also requires each customer to have a unique username and a password that must be entered each time they log in. Private information including the customers’ password is stored in encrypted format in the database. These safeguards help to protect the customers’ personal information and prevent unauthorized access. Anonymous Technical Information The Server stores as part of its operational logging, the number of hits, IP source addresses, browser type and other anonymous, technical information that helps us to maintain the website and to provide the highest level of service for our users. Specific information of this type is not shared outside of this Company, except in aggregate, completely anonymous form. Sale or Disclosure of Personal Data We will not sell your personal information to any third party without the customers’ explicit permission. We will not disclose the customer’s personal information, unless compelled to do so by legal or regulatory agents. Except as described above or specially authorized by the customer, in the event of a legal or regulatory request to disclose their personal information, this Company will notify you ahead of time when permitted. Information gathered on a page in a private label partner site or on a co-branded page, may become the property of the other company or of both this Company and the other company. In that instance, the use of such information by the other company may be subject to the privacy policy of that company and, in any event, This Company is not responsible for that company's use of your personal or demographic information. If you apply for a position through a co-branded site, you may be asked to provide information on your age, gender or race. Some companies are required by law to gather this information from requestors for reporting and record keeping requirements. You should understand that if provided, this information will be used by companies only in accordance with applicable law and will not be used in making any credit decisions. All information provided will be kept separate from your expression of interest in any credit opportunity. Providing this information is strictly voluntary and you will not be subject to any adverse action or treatment if you choose not to provide this information. VAULT Registrations and Financing Requests This Company is a site engineered to collect and store information then connect this information with third parties for the procurement of loans and other credit products and services.
We attempt to limit access to our searchable request database (or copies thereof) only to paying lenders, Finance Companies, Credit Unions, Leasing Companies, other financing sources, and Corporate Partners using the Company’s system, but cannot guarantee that other parties will not gain access to this database. We are not responsible for the use made of requests by third parties who access such request while they are in our searchable database. However, the portions of your searchable request that are automatically made the above persons or entities. You may remove your request from our searchable database at any time. However, the person and/or entities above who have paid for access to that database or to obtain a copy of that database as well as parties who have otherwise gained access to the database, may have retained a copy of your request or profile in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use or privacy of request or profiles in these instances. Opt-Out Policy From time to time, we may email service and product information that we believe will be of interest to visitors who have provided an email address via registering or signing up for our newsletter. Each email sent to you will include instructions on how to unsubscribe, including a link to opt out of further emails. You can also send an unsubscribe request to customer service listed on the site Correcting & Updating Your Information Your personal information can be updated any time by logging into your account and editing your registration information. Changes take affect immediately. For changes made to a loan or credit application, your original values are archived and remain available to lenders and clients so that they may view both the new and original values. Changes to your personal registration information are not archived.
